Merry Christmas

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back for one last Christmas card share before the day approaches.  Sometimes with a card you don't need a big fancy bow but you can still use some pretty ribbon as an accent.  I used several patterned papers from a hoarded October Afternoon paper collection to create my card base.  I then created a fun belly band as an accent using Green Glitz Ribbon.  I placed my retro Santa image on top.  I then fussy cut out the sentiment and popped it up with foam dots on the card.  I added a snowflake flair button next to Santa and then three white enamel dots at the top.  As a final touch I added Stickles to Santa's fur trim and then traced the letters with Glossy Accents.

Head on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon store to pick up all of your accent ribbons.  I hope you enjoy this card and all of you have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Christmas Greetings

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back on the blog today to share a simple but beautiful card I whipped up for a party I will be going to this Christmas season.  With life being so hectic right now it is good to always have some supplies on hand to make quick cards in a pinch.  I did just that with one of my creativity kits from Pollys Paper on Etsy and a couple of different ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon's Store

I adhered two printed papers to a Kraft card base.  I then wrapped Ivory Double Faced Satin Ribbon and Gold Glitz Ribbon vertically around the base.  I used the same glitz ribbon to make a simple double looped bow with my Bow-It-All and adhered it to the top of the ribbon band.  I then layered  a digital music sheet print.  I took my Santa focal image and matted it onto Kraft cardstock.  I popped that on top with foam squares.  As a final accent, I added three gold glitter enamel dots to the bottom left corner.  Voila!  This card only took about 15 minutes to put together and looks perfect to send to anyone to help them celebrate the season.  Have a wonderful day!

Really Reasonable Ribbon December Blog Hop

Hi there crafty ribbon lovers!  Today is the day for the December Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The design team and I have come up some beautiful projects with the new Beautiful Blues ribbon club assortment

If you are following along you should have come here from Jennifer's Blog.  If not, head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to start at the beginning.

This month I decided to alter a mini crate box I picked up from Hobby Lobby quite a while ago.  I wanted to make something to hold the Christmas cards from this year.

I painted the box with Picket Fence and Broken China Distress paint.  I then added a silvery shimmer with Distress Pewter stain.  After that was all dry I added a band of Light Blue Netting and Light Navy Satin with Grosgrain Edge around the middle of the box.  I adhered a silver glitter die cut made from one of my Spellbinders dies to the right side of the box front.  I created several bows from Light Navy Satin with Grosgrain Edge, Blue Topaz Argyle Print on White Satin, and Silver Metallic String.  I then adhered them to the top of the die cut.  I then cut out a Poinsettia from an MFT die with white, yellow, and green MFT felt.  I adhered that to the top of the bows.  I finished it off with a Navy blue flat backed pearl.

I hope you enjoy the Christmas card holder I created with the beautiful new ribbons from the December Ribbon Assortment.  Now head on over to Bonnie's Blog which is the next on our hop.  Have a wonderful crafty day!

December Hoarder's Hop

Welcome to the December Craft Hoarders Anonymous Hop! You should be coming to my blog from Glenda Brooks blog. After visiting me, hop over to Donna Idlet's blog next! To start at the beginning of the hop, and for the full list of Bloggers, go to Gloria's Blog!

I created this rustic cabin Christmas card using the Winter Wonderland stamp set from FSJ to create the image within the polaroid frame and the hand stamped background paper.  I stamped the image and background paper with Oatmeal Cookie ink onto Butter Cream and Oatmeal Cookie cardstock respectively.  I distressed the image with the same Oatmeal Cookie ink.  I then added some color to the windows and trees with Lemon Drop and Fresh Forest inks.  I cute out all of my die cut pieces with Snapshot Frames Die set.  The ribbon and lace are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used Red Double Faced Satin ribbon and Chloe Natural Crochet Lace.  I added some Journey Glaze to the roof of the cabin and then sprinkled it with Journey Sparkle Dust.  I also added Journey Glaze to the Holly berries.

I hope you are enjoying the hop so far, and my card got you into the Christmas spirit a bit.  Please make sure to visit all of the other blogs on this hop and leave the talented ladies some love.  Have a wonderful day!

Shimmer and Sparkle Challenge

Hi there crafty peeps!  It's that time for a new challenge over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog.

The theme for Challenge #131 is Shimmer and Sparkle.
Create a card, layout, multi media piece, tag, ATC, hair bow, you name it. Just be sure to follow the theme above and use ribbon, lace or trim somewhere on your project.

My card was created with a winter shimmer and sparkle theme in mind.  I used a hoarded stamp set from My Favorite Things.  I heat embossed the trees onto white cardstock with white embossing powder.  I then inked the background with Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, and Broken China Distress Inks.  I hand cut out a snowy hill and adhered it at the base of the trees.  I stamped the sentiment on the snowy hill in black ink.  I popped the finished scene onto a white card base with foam tape.  I then wrapped Royal Blue Diamond Satin and Silver Metallic Grosgrain ribbons around the card.  I created a bow with the same Royal Blue Diamond Satin ribbon.  Finally I added some clear sparkling glitter to the snowy hill and winter sky to mimic snow.

Now, let's see your Shimmer and Sparkle creations!
We will be selecting our top three favorite projects to feature, so stop back on December 18th to see our picks along with our next challenge theme.

Retro Holidays

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am dropping by today to share a retro holiday card I created using some awesome ribbons from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.

I layered several papers and images from one of my hoarded creativity kits that I purchased from Pollys Paper on Etsy.  I wrapped Poppy Red Diamond Satin ribbon and 3/8" Celery Green Plaid ribbon around the card base and topped it with a bow made from the same Poppy Red Diamond Satin ribbon.  To finish the card, I added some crystal Stickles all over the snowman to make him sparkle and three red gemstones at the bottom of the card.  I hope you enjoy this retro creation and don't forget to head over to the store for all of your holiday ribbon needs.  Have a wonderful day!

I created a card by layering several images/papers from the Traditional Santa Creativity Kit by Polly's Paper on Etsy.  I wrapped a length of Plain Cotton Blend Ribbon around the middle of the card and then some Double-Faced Red Satin Ribbon around that.  I also created a double looped bow with the same satin ribbon and attached that to the top left corner.  I added some yellow Perfect Pearls to the center of the poinsettia printed image, and three glitter enamel dots to add a little sparkle to the bottom left corner.  I hope you enjoy this old fashioned Christmas card.  Have a wonderful day!

Silver and Gold Challenge with Ribbon

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back to share a Christmas tag that I made for the new challenge going on at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  We are challenging you to create a project with the theme of Silver and Gold with ribbon.

I created a Christmas tag using Elements from the Shabby Pink Christmas Creativity Kit from Polly's Paper on Etsy.  I layered the iridescent patterned paper onto a white cardstock tag.  I then inked the church image with distress ink and adhered it to a white cardstock mat.  I then popped the image onto the tag with foam tape.  I cut a length of Metallic Silver String and tied it onto the tag.  I then created a triple looped bow with Shell Gray Shimmer Satin and adhered it to the top of the tag.  I finished the tag with 3 silver flat backed pearls and lots of snowy sparkle to the rooftops with Stickles.  I hope you enjoy the tag, and come join in the fun challenge.  Have a wonderful day!

The ribbons I used for the card were Tangerine Satin Swirls Ribbon and Tangerine Diamond Satin Ribbon.  I hope you enjoy my project.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Holiday Pocket Gift Card Holder

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am here today to share with you a gift card/treat holder I made using products from my Fun Stampers Journey collection and ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I created a double pocket with Cranberry Bliss Cardstock and my Pocket Card Die.  I assembled it, and cut two pieces of holiday patterned paper to fit inside the front pocket and the front of the card.  I created a notecard for the back pocket with Kiwi Slice Cardstock and stamped a sentiment from the Jolly Friends stamp set onto the top.  I then wrapped some Red Seam binding around the front of the pocket and tied it in a single bow.  I popped up a pierced circle cut from Whip Cream Cardstock.  I then stamped the Star onto Kiwi Slice Cardstock with Kiwi Slice Ink and fussy cut it out.  I adhered down a "nest" of Metallic Silver String on top of the pierced circle and then placed the star on top of that with foam tape.  I stamped the cute little deer image in Versafine ink and colored it with my Tombo markers.  I added Journey Glaze to the nose, antlers, hooves, nose, and scarf.  I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the star.  Finally I added a patterned paper fishtail banner and puffy silver star to a clothespin and pinned a giftcard to the inside of the front pocket.  This would also be perfect for a candy cane or another treat in lieu of a giftcard.  I hope you enjoy my project.  Have a wonderful day!

Finally, I added some Journey glaze to the letters, Candy Cane, and Holly.  I sprinkled some sparkling Journey Sparkle Dust onto the candy cane and sentiment tag to create a more "Holiday" feel.  I hope you enjoy my card and it inspires you to dig out your Holiday supplies and get a start on the season.  Have a wonderful day!

Get A Head Start On Christmas Challenge with Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back to share a Christmas card inspiration that I made for the new challenge going on at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  We are challenging you to create a Christmas themed card with ribbon.

I created this cute card with a stamp set from Newton's Nook Designs called Newton's Holiday Mischief.  I colored the stamp with my Copic markers and cut it out with my Cross stitch rectangle STAX dies from MFT.  I matted it onto Black Licorice cardstock.  I matted several patterned papers onto black cardstock and adhered this to an A2 card base. I wrapped two ribbons from the November Ribbon Club Assortment (Funky Snowflakes on Emerald Grosgrain Ribbon and Delicate Stitched Satin Red) around the card front.  I popped up my image with foam tape and placed it onto the card.  I then created a triple loop bow from the same Red Satin ribbon with my Bow-It-All tool.  I attached that along the bottom right side of the card with the ribbon sash.  I finished the card with 3 glitter enamel dots from Doodlebug.  I hope you enjoy the card, and come join in the fun challenge.  Have a wonderful day!

Creepy Crawly Cute!

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a card I made with a super adorable stamp set called Creepy Crawly from Fun Stampers Journey.  I absolutely love this cute little Halloween stamp set!  I know it is getting very close to Halloween, and most people have moved on to Christmas but I just have to squeeze a few more cards in.  I also used a wonderful combination of ribbons from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store

I first stamped the Widows Web background stamp from FSJ onto Black Licorice cardstock and heat embossed it with some Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder.  I then matted it onto Citrus Cooler cardstock.  I die cut several pieces of Doodlebug paper with my MFT dies and layered them onto the background.  I stamped the small spider web and embossed that as well.  I then cut that out with a circle die, matted it onto the Citrus Cooler cardstock and popped it up onto the card base.  I stamped a small spider in Black and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I then stamped the sentiment on Black Licorice cardstock with embossing ink and embossed that with white embossing powder.  I fussy cut it out and popped it up onto the web accent.  I then stamped the large spider with Black Licorice ink and fussy cut him out leaving a small white border.  I placed some black twine behind him and popped him up onto the card with foam tape.  I added Journey Glaze to him to make him shiny.  I added some assorted clear, silver and purple sequins from my stash.

I finished the card by wrapping Tangerine Diamond Satin Ribbon and Spider webs on Black Grosgrain Ribbon around the bottom of the card.  I then adhered the completed panel to an Citrus Cooler A2 sized card base.  I hope you enjoy my spooky but cute Halloween card and it puts you in the mood for All Hallows Eve!  Have a wonderful day.

October Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop

Hi there crafty ribbon lovers!  Today is the day for the October Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The design team and I have come up some beautiful projects with the new Crazy For Christmas ribbon club assortment.

If you are following along you should have come here from Ginny's Blog.  If not, head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to start at the beginning.

Believe it or not, Christmas is only a few months away!  It is time for me to get started on my cards for the Holiday.  I have been waiting and waiting to use my Stamp sets from the Heartfelt Creations "Sparkling Poinsettia" collection.  I grabbed for them right away when I saw this month's ribbon assortment.

I stamped the candle image onto Copic cardstock with Black Licorice Hybrid ink from Fun Stampers Journey.  This is an awesome ink for coloring with Copics because it does not smear and it is super dark black! I then colored it with my Copic Markers.  After I was finished I cut the colored image out on my Silhouette Cameo machine using my Pix Scan mat.  I layered a 5 1/2 inch square piece of patterned paper onto Whip ream cardstock.  I then cut a window out of it with an MFT STAX die and popped it up onto a 5 1/2 inch square card base with 2 layers of foam tape.  I took my distress inks in Fossilized Amber and Mustard Seed  and sponged a "candle glow" light effect onto the background cardstock.  I took my colored image and placed it into the window with a single layer of foam tape.  I stamped and die cut two sets of Poinsettias from the same stamp collection onto thin watercolor paper by Northwoods Stamps with Raspberry Berry ink.  I shaded them with Fired Brick and Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.  I layered the leaves together and placed the stamens in the center which were colored with Fossilized Amber ink.  I covered the stamens with Journey Sparkle Dust to make them look frost covered.  I coated the flame of the candle with Journey Glaze to make it shine.

I wrapped several ribbons and mesh from Really Reasonable Ribbon around the bottom of the card.  The first layer is 1.5" Burgundy Netting.  I then layered Emerald Checkerboard Satin Ribbon and Christmas Fun Flowers Ribbon from this months assortment over the netting.  I created a double layer bow with my Bow It All tool and tied it onto the ribbon band.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment, cut it out, rounded the edges, and adhered it to the top corner of the card.

I hope you enjoy my Christmas card I created with the beautiful new ribbons from the October Ribbon Assortment.  Now head on over to Bonnie's Blog which is the next on our hop.  Have a wonderful crafty day!

It is official, this is my first Christmas card of 2015!  I used several papers and images from the Retro Christmas Creativity Kit on Polly's Paper Etsy shop.  I layered up the papers and elements on Cranberry Bliss Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey.  I inked all of the edges with Festive Berries Distress Ink.  I added Journey Glaze and Sparkle Dust to the ornament and also some white flat back pearls.  I added a band and Triple Loop Double Layered bow made from Ribbons at the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.  I stamped the "Peace" sentiment onto a small tag and tucked it into some Poinsettia flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I added a small bouquet of flowers to the bow as well.  I adhered the entire panel to a white A2 card base.

I hope you are enjoying the hop so far, and my card got you into the Christmas spirit a bit.  Please make sure to visit all of the other blogs on this hop and leave the talented ladies some love.  Have a wonderful day!

Giving Thanks

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a Thanksgiving layered card I made with some of my supplies and ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store

I started by creating a center panel with cardstock and Fall patterned paper from Fun Stampers Journey.  I stamped the wreath from my Grateful Heart ATS stamp and colored the berries with Raspberry Berry and Tangerine True Color Fusion Ink and Fusion Blender from FSJ.  I then stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with some gold embossing powder.  I colored the "grateful" in the sentiment with the same Tangerine ink.  I fussy cut the wreath and sentiment out and popped them up with foam tape on the panel.

I wrapped the panel with the natural colored hemp cording from the Bright Hemp set.  I also created my single loop bow with this as well.  I then covered a 3.5x4in card base with more patterned paper.  I wrapped some Turftan Brown Satin with Grosgrain Edge ribbon.  I adhered the panel to the base and added Journey Glaze to the berries on the wreath.  As a final accent, I added some Doodlebug Gold Sprinkles to the upper and lower corners of the card.  I hope you enjoy the card, and it inspires you to make some cards to give to your loved ones at Thanksgiving.  Have a great day!

Ghostly Haunts at Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share an adorably spooky card I created with adorable Halloween stamps from the Fun Stampers Journey Ghostly Haunts set and one of the ribbons from the September Ribbon Club Assortment.

First, I stamped the largest pumpkin onto Copic paper and then masked it off.  I then stamped the small pumpkin over the large one, so that when I removed the mask it was behind it.  I then masked the large pumpkin again and stamped the large ghost over it, so when the mask was removed it looks like it is floating behind the pumpkin.  I then stamped the small Ghost separately.  I stamped the funny faces onto each ghost.  I colored all of the images with my Copic markers and then fussy cut them out.

I cut a rectangle out of Canson Watercolor Cardstock with one of my Cross Stitch Die-Namics.  I blended several distress inks onto the cardstock (Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Forest Moss, and Black Soot) and sprayed it with a mini mister filled with water.  This helped even out and blend the colors even more.  I adhered the large ghost and pumpkins down to the dry background.  I then popped up the small ghost with foam tape and adhered that next to the large ghost.  I die cut a rickety fence in Black Licorice cardstock and adhered that in front of the pumpkins.  I heat embossed the sentiment onto the same Black Licorice cardstock with White embossing powder and fussy cut it out.  I popped the sentiment up with foam tape and adhered it in the middle of the panel.

I then created an A2 sized card base with Black Licorice cardstock and patterned paper from the FSJ Treat Time Prints pack.  I then wrapped Black and White Houndstooth Ribbon and Celery Chevron Twill Ribbon around the middle of the card base.  I popped the focal panel up with foam tape and adhered it slightly off to the left center of the card base.  I then created a quadruple loop bow with my Bow-It-All tool and the same twill ribbon from the band.  I adhered that to the middle right side of the card with my hot glue gun.  I adhered the entire card to a Whip Cream A2 side folded card.  As a final accent I covered both ghosts and the fence with Journey Glaze.

I hope you enjoy this cute but spooky card for Halloween.  Thanks for joining me today, and make sure to head on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon store for all of your Halloween and Fall themed ribbons.  Have a wonderful day!

Orange You Glad It's Autumn?

It is time for a new challenge over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog.  We are challenging you to create something Orange and Fall themed with ribbon or trim.  Fall is my absolute favorite season of the year.  I love the colors, the crisp weather, apple picking, pumpkin carving, hot apple cider, pumpkin flavored everything and all the other delights that come with the season.

I made my card with papers from Polly's Paper Fall Harvest Creativity Kit on Etsy.  I layered all of the papers and focal image on Bazzil Candy Bar cardstock.  I added large flat backed brown pearls to the edges of the frame paper.  I created a triple loop bow with my Bow-It-All tool and Shimmer Tangerine with Gold ribbon. I then created a double loop bow with Ruby Satin Ribbon.  I placed them both together on the card.  I added some Mulberry flowers in pretty fall colors around the bows.  All of these items can be found at the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.  I hope you enjoy my orange Autumn themed card and come join us for this challenge by linking your projects.  I would love to see what you create!  Have a wonderful day.

U-Pick Pumpkins

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a cute little fall greeting card with you. I started with an adorable stamp from Whipper Snapper Stamps called "U-Pick Farm".  I stamped it onto my Canson watercolor paper with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I then watercolored it with my Distress Makers.  I then cut the image out with an MFT Oval STAX die.

I adhered a few pieces of fall patterned paper from my stash to an A2 piece of mustard colored cardstock.  I wrapped Turftan Brown Satin with Grosgrain Edges Ribbon and Sunflowers on Kiwi Grosgrain Ribbon around the card.  I created a triple loop bow with the same Turftan Brown Satin with Grosgrain Edges Ribbon and my Bow-It-All tool.  I adhered that to the card.  I finished it with three golden yellow pearls.  I hope you enjoy this adorable fall card.  Make sure to stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store for all of your Fall themed ribbons.  Have a wonderful day!

September Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop

Hi there crafty ribbon lovers!  Today is the day for the September Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon. The design team and I have cooked up some beautiful projects with the new Haunted Halloween Mix ribbon club assortment.

If you are following along you should have come here from Ginny's Blog.  If not, head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog to start at the beginning.

I dug into my overly large collection of stamps for this challenge.  One of my favorite holidays is Halloween, so I collect a lot of Halloween themed stamp sets.  For this card I decided to use Darcie's Halloween Owl set.  I stamped the images onto Copic cardstock and then colored them with a variety of my Copic Markers.  I fussy cut them out and then adhered them to an eerie background I created by blending Tim Holtz Distress inks in Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot, Fossilized Amber, and Squeezed Lemonade.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed with my WOW bright white embossing powder.  I layered it onto black cardstock with some Halloween patterned paper from my stash.

I created a band with two of the ribbons from the assortment; Kiwi Delicate Stitched Satin ribbon and Pumpkins on White Grosgrain ribbon.  I also created a small single loop bow with the same Pumpkins on White Grosgrain ribbon.  Finally, I added a few Halloween green sparkly enamel dots to the sentiment strip as an accent.

I hope you enjoy this Halloween themed card I created with the beautiful new ribbons from the September Ribbon Assortment.  Now head on over to Bonnie's Blog which is the next on our hop.  Have a wonderful crafty day!

September Hoarders Hop

Welcome to the September Craft Hoarders Anonymous Hop! You should be coming to my blog from Glenda Brooks blog. After visiting me, hop over to Tracey Sabella's blog next! To start at the beginning of the hop, and for the full list of Bloggers, go to Gloria's Blog!

I have had the Graphic 45 "Raining Cats and Dogs" collection stored in my craft room for quite some time now.  I had this plan of making a mini album of our 3 cats and new as soon as I saw this collection it would be perfect!  I bought almost the entire set including all of the elements and then it sat and sat...  Until this week!  I finally took it all out and made a mini box and album from it along with a hoarded black 5x5 mixed media box from the Graphic 45 Staples collection.

I measured all of the sides on the box and cut out patterned paper to match.  I inked all of the edges with Black Soot Distress ink and adhered them down.  I fussy cut out the cat and flowers image for the front and adhered that popping up the large flower on foam dots.  I made the corner bouquet with several coordinating Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Flowers.  After they were adhered, I sprayed them with some Lindy's Stamp Gang in Clam Bake Beige to create some shimmer and darken the white flowers a bit.  I framed the edges of the front with black rhinestones.

Below are the pictures of how I designed the sides of the box including the opening flap.  I used a Graphic 45 Antique Metal Door Pull from my stash for the opening.

After I finished the box, I then got to work on the actual mini album to fit inside the box.  The box came with 6 black cardstock pieces that I used to create the pages of my album.  I covered each side with patterned paper and several elements from the collection.  All of it was inked again with the Black Soot ink.   After I was finished with the pages, I punched a hole in each upper left corner with my Cropadile puncher.  I had a silver binding ring in my stash which I covered in black patterned Washi tape to make it blend in with the book more.

The backs of each page (not pictured) were left unembellished with only a 3 1/4 x 3 3/4 inch black mat for my pictures when I get them developed.  I am really pleased with how this album turned out.  I hope you have enjoyed it and are enjoying the hop.  Have a wonderful day!

Vintage Halloween Banner

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a banner I made with ribbons from the new September Ribbon Club Assortment and the Vintage Inspired Halloween Creativity Kit from Polly's Paper Studio Etsy shop.  I have to start out by explaining that Halloween is my favorite holiday after Christmas.  I just love the crisp fall weather, the pumpkins, the candy, and the fun spookiness of it all.  I was so excited to be able to create a banner to decorate with!

I cut out the banner shapes with the Stitched Party Banners Die by Lawn Fawn in black cardstock and then layered the patterned papers and cute images from the kit on top.  I inked all of the edges with Black Soot Distress ink.  I added pearls and Rhinestones in black and orange to add a bit of sparkle.  I then threaded the banners onto Black and White Houndstooth Plaid Ribbon.  I created two double layer triple loop bows with my Bow-It-All tool and some Orange Sheer Organza with Satin Edges ribbon.  I finished it off with White Gypsophilia Flowers by each hole and on the orange bows.

I hope you enjoy this banner as much as I enjoyed making it.  Make sure to head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon store for all of your Halloween themed ribbons.  Have a wonderful day!

Exciting New Venture

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am popping in today to share a card I have made and to announce a very exciting new chapter in my creative journey.  I have felt a pulling at my heart for a very long time to teach others about this wonderful hobby of papercrafting and the newest techniques out there.  I have also been asked from several friends to teach them about the different coloring medias available for stamping and how to use them.  I am at a good point in my life now to be able to do this, so I decided to jump in head first so to speak.  I have decided to join the Fun Stampers Journey team as a journey coach!  I met Richard Garay and a few of the wonderful team of Journey Coaches at my local Scrapbook Expo last month.  I immediately felt the fun positive energy of this team and knew this was the right path for me.

I had a chance to play around with a few of the amazing products that came in my starter kit and came up with this lovely little thank you card!

I started out by stamping 3 Cacti from the Stuck on You stamp set onto Canson watercolor paper with Black Licorice ink.  All of the inks are fusion hybrid inks, so they provide the clean crisp color of a pigment ink with the permanency and quick drying of a dye ink.   I then watercolored them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  After they had dried, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.
I then matted two pieces from the Journey Basics Pastels paper pack onto an A2 Oatmeal Cookie cardstock base.  I then cut out another piece of watercolor paper with a pierced rectangle Die.  I stamped a light background on this piece with the Ink Splat stamp in Banana Cream ink.  I then stamped the "thank you" sentiment from the same Stuck on You stamp set with Black Licorice ink.  I adhered this onto the card and wrapped Natural Twine around the bottom.  I then adhered my three Cacti onto the right side of the card popping up the front one with foam squares.  I added some sparkle with my clear Wink of Stella marker and some shine to the pots with Journey Glaze.  It is a mix between a glaze and a resin so it creates a very shiny smooth glass-like surface without bubbles.  Finally I added some sequins from my overly large stash just because I felt it needed a "little something" to tie the whole card together.

I really hope you have enjoyed my card and it interested you in checking out this great new company. I would love it if you would check out my website www.funstampersjourney.com/AmberMilone.  If you have any questions about the company or products don't hesitate to contact me.  Have a wonderful day!
