C.C. Designs October Preview Day 1

Today on the blog we are previewing the new C.C. Designs stamps that will be available Wednesday October 3rd at the C.C Designs Store.  I have used the cute new stamp called Rodney's Ride.

Forest Friends Craft Room Challenge

Hey there crafty peeps!  I am hosting the new challenge over at the Craft Room.  I have chosen the theme of Forest Friends for this challenge.  I am a big fan of the forest and all the critters that live in it, especially owls.  I am challenging you to create a project with a forest critter as your focal point.  Here is a little inspiration for you.

I used the Love you S'more stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn for this card.  I created the background by blending Dusty Concord, Faded Jeans, and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks over embossed stars that I applied using a Stencil by Memory Box.  The background patterned paper is from the Doodlebug Happy Camper collection.  Head on over to the blog to view the rest of the inspiration created by the DT and join in the fun for your chance to win a great prize from Tando Creative.

Make It Monday Fall Shaker Card

Hi there everyone!  Today it is my turn for Make It Monday at the CC Designs blog.  I decided to do something new this time around and make a video instead of a picture tutorial.  That being said, this is my first video so go easy on me!  I used the new Autumn Teddy image and the new AmyR Happy Harvest Sentiments.  The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.  The patterned paper is from the new Carta Bella collection A Perfect Autumn

Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #16

Hi there!  For challenge 16 at Craft Hoarders Anonymous, Gloria is challenging us to use office supplies in our project.

Challenge #16 Who Loves School and Office Supplies?
Most paper crafters also love school and office supplies. We love crayons, markers, shaped paperclips, notepads, folders, and more! If you hoard school and office products, get them out! Use them up! Use at least one item that is really a school or office supply on your project.

Our sponsors this month are Heartfelt Creations, Crafty Secrets, and our prize sponsor this challenge is Lindy's Stamp Gang.  They have generously donated a $30 gift card to one lucky winner!

Here is what I created for my inspiration to this weeks challenge.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Halloween and cats so when I saw this image, I knew I had to create a fun card with it.  The image is from Crafty Secrets.  The flowers are stamped and fussy cut from  the Heartfelt Creations stamp set Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set.  The patterned paper is from the new Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale collection.  The purple ribbon is from the September Ribbon Club Kit from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used a colored paperclip from my office supplies and added it to the top of the image.  I hope you enjoyed my Halloween card.  Visit all of the other DT members blogs to view their inspirations for this challenge as well.

CC Designs September Preview Day 2

Today at the CC Designs Blog, we are previewing the brand new Roberto's Rascals Stamps for September.  These will be available along with all the other collections at the store on Thursday September 4th at 9:00pm EST.

I used the new Latte Sue, and AmyR Happy Harvest stamp sets for the card.  I also used the new Doodlebug Friendly Forest and Fall Assortment Sprinkles which are also available through the CC Designs store.  I colored Sue with my Copic Markers and finished the leaves, her cup, and her purse with Clear Wink of Stella.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Head over to the blog to view the rest of the inspiration created for today.

CCD September Preview Day 1

Hi crafty peeps!  Today I am sharing with you a peak into two of the awesome stamps that will be available at the CC Designs Store Thursday September 4th at 9:00pm EST.

I used the brand new CCD Autumn's Mum stamp.  I colored her up with my Copic markers and cut her out with a Spellbinders die.  It is hard to see in the picture but I added clear Wink of Stella to the flower.  The patterned paper is from the Echo Park Reflections Fall collection.  The layout was created using the newest blueprints die-namics from MFT.  The sentiment is from the new AmyR Happy Harvest Sentiments and was stamped and embossed on brown paper.  Lastly, I made a bow using my Zutter Bow-It-All and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The button is a paver red Button from MFT and the twine is from my stash.
