Roberto's Rascals May Preview

Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing a preview of one of the new Roberto's Rascals stamps that will be available Thursday in the CC Designs store.  I used Gardening Twila and AmyR Happy Day Sentiments.  The pattern paper is Hello Sunshine from Pink Paislee.  I colored the image with my Copic Markers.  The ribbon is from the April Really Reasonable Ribbon kit.  The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.  I used the Blueprints 13 Die-Namics from MFT for the layout.  Head over to the blog and link up for your chance to win a gift card to the store!

Pollycraft April Review

Hi all!  Today I have created a sweet little birthday card with the new Pollycraft Sugar stamp and AmyR's Great Birthday Greetings.  I colored this adorable little cupcake cutie with my Copic Markers and stamped the greeting above her on Copic Xpress It Blending Cardstock.  I created the card with the new Blueprints 14 die-namics from MFT.  The patterned paper is from the Doodlebug Sugar Shoppe collection.  I hope you enjoy it!

Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #6

It is the start of a new week and with that comes a new challenge from Craft Hoarders Anonymous.  Gloria is challenging us to use a sketch this time, but there is a twist.  She wants us to pick a new item from our hoard and an old item.  Hampton Art is our sponsor for this month, and have generously donated an awesome prize for one lucky winner that will be picked at the end of April.

I have created this card using the sketch provided.  My new items are the adorable bike stamp from Hampton Art, and also the pattern paper from KI Memories ( a Hampton Art company).  My old items are the MFT cloud dies, and the yellow ribbon.  I hope you enjoy my card creation for the challenge.  Come join in the fun!

A Random Fan

Hi everyone,
Today I created a card to show off one of the newly available A Random Fan stamps at CC Designs.  They are making these amazingly adorable stamps in rubber.  I used the Sweet Honey Bee Stamp for my card.  Head over to the store and pick these little cuties up while they are available.

Dance theme at the Craft-Room

Hi everyone,
Well it's time for a new challenge this fortnight over at the Craft-Room.  Hazel is hosting this week, and she is challenging us to use the theme "Dance" for our project.  Tando Creative is generously sponsoring the challenge.  Without further ado, here is my inspiration for this fortnight.

I used a very pretty digital collage image of a ballerina that I purchased on Etsy.  The paper is from MME called Pretty Things.  The lace and seam binding are from my stash. I dyed it with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.  The button is from Prima.  I finished it off with small pink pearls, paper flowers, and bits of paper doily.  All the edges of the paper are inked with Distress Antique Linen ink.  I hope this inspires you to create something wonderful.  Head over to the blog and join in for your chance to win a great prize!

CC Designs Nurse Stamps Release

I wanted to share the card I created today for the Nurse Stamps Release today at CC. Designs.  This little cutie is Nurse Lucy. I colored her with my Copic Markers.  I also used a sentiment from the For The Nurses set.  I used the Sweet Girl Paper collection by Echo Park.  The layout was very easily created with the MFT Blueprints 5 Die-Namics.  I finished the inside of the card with the same papers and sentiment set.  Head on over to the blog to see all of the stamps included in this special release, and to see more inspiration from the team!

Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #5

Can you believe it is April already?!  The time just seems to be flying by, but on the plus side that means spring is right around the corner in MN.  It is time for another challenge over at Craft Hoarders Anonymous.  Gloria is challenging us this time to create a project using stamps.

Challenge #5 Pick a Stamp, Any Stamp!
You don't have to be a card maker to hoard stamps! With the popularity of pocket-style scrapbooking and the explosion of journaling stamps on the market, many scrapbookers have also become stamp hoarders. Plus, digital stamps are more popular than ever. I am sure that most of us have at least one stamp in our stash! You may "collect" wood mounted stamps, clear stamps, cling rubber, or even digital! Get one out, dust it off, and make it the STAR of your project! We want to see a stamp (sentiment, word art, image, etc.) as the focal point of your project! Feel free to use more than one stamp, but you must have AT LEAST ONE stamped item on your project.

Hampton Art is our sponsor for the month of April.  We are changing it up a bit for April.  There is going to be one BIG prize at the end of April for all those that participated through the month (contents not included).

Hampton Art, founded in 1980 in picturesque Long Island, NY, has been inspiring stampers, crafters and papercraft enthusiasts for over 20 years. One of the earliest “art stamp” companies, Hampton has transformed over the years to become a complete provider of creative products such as stamps, inks, papers, k...ids crafts, stationery, scrapbooking supplies, and card making accessories for crafters of every age and skill level. We focus on working together with other companies through strong, personal relationships and licensing partnerships to consistently bring fun, inspiring products to market. We have a portfolio of brands including Hampton Art™, Studio G™, Diffusion, Ditto™, and our latest addition, Ki Memories®, acquired in 2012. Our products can be found via most national craft retailers at over 5000 stores across the US and Canada. We also ship to 20 different countries across the globe. Hampton was acquired by National Spinning Co, Inc. of Washington, NC, our current home, in 2008. For more information, visit our Website

Here is the card I created for this challenge.  The stamp is a 7 Gypsies wood stamp I have in my hoard.  I stamped it onto Bazzil 40# Velum with Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.  The background of the card was created using the MFT Modern Morocco Die-Namics over KI patterned paper.  I finished the card up with some lavender flat back pearls and mulberry flowers.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, and it inspires you to come and join us for the stamp challenge.  Head over to the blog and see what the other talented designers have created.  Have a wonderful week!

The hop starts at midnight Friday April 4th est.and ends Sunday April 6th at noon est.

I have created a sweet little gift box for someone special on their birthday.  The box was created using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine (Design 50520).  I then colored up the cute little Pollycraft Dotty rubber stamp with my Copic Markers.  I cut her out with my Pierced Circle Stax from MFT and matted it on a Spellbinders Doily die.  I popped her up with pop dots onto the front of the box.  I created a tag from an MFT die and the new AmyR Great Birthday Greetings
stamp set.  I added some gold sequin strands to the upper edges of the box. I finished it off with  a pink bow and mulberry flowers to the box handle.  I hope you enjoy my birthday project, and don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win a gift certificate to the store.
