Color Challenge

Hi everyone!  Today is the start of week two of the color challenge at Craft Hoarders Anonymous.  You still have a week to join in the fun!  We have a wonderful prize pack from our sponsor Shari Czerwinski, Independent Consultant for Close to My Heart up for grabs.

Challenge #2: Let's See that Hoard!

This is a Color Challenge with a twist. Pick the thing or things that you seem to hoard the most, and using the color scheme shown below, create a project that showcases your hoarded item or items. Do you hoard buttons, beads, ribbon, papers, stickers? Show your hoard, but only the items that match the color scheme! (Please note, you do not have to use all the colors in the photo, nor match the colors exactly. Just use the photo and the colors to inspire you to dig through your hoard.)

Here is my inspiration for the challenge.  I used a sweet little stamp set from CTMH called Sensational Season.  The paper is from We R Memory Keepers Cotton Tail collection.  The ribbon is from my hoard.  The paper peonies were created using my Silhouette with a Lori Whitlock cut file.  I hope you enjoy, and have a wonderful week!

Color Challenge

Hi everyone!  My first challenge at the Craft-Room is up and running!  It is a spring color challenge.  I thought we all would be wanting some bright colors to work with at this point since it has been such a gloomy winter.

The color pallet inspired me to make this sweet little card with a new stamp from Sugar Pea Designs.  I had so much fun coloring her up with my Copic Markers.  The paper is a 6x6 collection from MME that I have had in my stash for a while.  I hope you enjoy my inspiration, and come join us for our challenge this fortnight.

Stamps: A Bushel and a Peck by Sugar Pea Designs
Ink: Copic Markers; Versafine Onyx Black; Memento Tuxedo Black; Wink Of Stella Clear
Paper: MME
Dies: Stitched Journaling Card by Lawn Fawn
Embellishments: Button from MFT; bakers twine; grosgrain ribbon; gemstones

Exciting Announcement

Hi everyone!
I am excited to announce today that I have been asked to be part of the C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps Design Team.  I was part of their challenge DT last spring so I was excited to get the opportunity to work with them again.  I love their stamps, and use them so much, it was a perfect match.  I have actually known since mid January so It is nice to finally let the cat of the bag.  I created a card using a few of my favorite newer rubber stamps that were released recently.  I hope you like it!

Show Us Your Style!

Hi all!  This is my first project for the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog.  If you followed along last week you got to see some incredible projects from 6 of the talented DT on team A.  This week team B has 6 more inspiring projects to get your creative juices flowing.  Head on over to the blog and join in.  Gloria Stengel has put together an AMAZING prize pack for one lucky winner.

I decided to make a Valentine's Day card as my inspiration.  I would describe my style as cute, girly, and trendy.  Also I have an unhealthy obsession with  anything pink.  Yes, the first step is admitting you have a problem hehe! As you can see there is pink in abundance with this card.  I dug into my stamp stash for this cute little girl.  She is from the Mimi and Miles stamp set by Penny Black.  I colored her with my Inktense pencils and water.  The hot pink grosgrain ribbon has been in my ribbon hoard forever and I finally decided to us it up.  The paper is from Doodlebug.  I absolutely LOVE Doodlebug papers and I have a hard time parting with them, but I broke down and used them this time.  The pink sequins are a find from my large embellishment container.  I hope you enjoy my cute little inspiration and come share with us what you are hoarding.

Stamps: Penny Black Mimi and Miles; SSS Only Have Eyes For You
Ink: CTMH Archival Black Ink; Inktense Pencils; Memento Luxe Rosebud
Dies: MFT Fishtail Flag STAX; MFT pierced circle STAX
Paper: Doodlebug Sweetheart; Bazzil Marshmallow; Kraft
Embellishments: Grosgrain Ribbon; Sequins; Crystal Stickles
